Under this initiative, RESCONS Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (RSPL), as a responsible company to ensure a better planet for our future generation, has embarked on an ambitious project on the production of iron with net zero carbon as shown in the figure, below.

Critical Issues Being Addressed

How can we help our farmers use their biomass (rice husks, straws, wheat, maize waste, etc.) in a useful way instead of burning it in the field?

Buying biomass from local farmers and using it in local industries so that pollution in India and other countries can be reduced substantially.

Use this biomass to reduce iron ore to produce iron in a net zero carbon process and help India achieve her net zero carbon goal by the year 2070 or earlier.

Under this initiative, RESCONS Solutions is extensively involved in basic and applied research in collaboration with IISc, Bengaluru, and CSIRO Australia and is developing a technology that can be used in industries.

RESCONS Solutions is actively testing this technology with a couple of industries and hopes that these trials will be over by the middle of the year 2025. After that, this technology will be available for commercial use.
