The global steel industry is one of the largest contributors to carbon emissions, accounting for nearly 8% of global CO2 output.
For decades, steel production has relied heavily on coking coal as a reducing agent in blast furnaces and DRI processes, creating a massive carbon footprint that traditional methods struggle to offset.
Our breakthrough technology converts rice husk and other agricultural waste into high-quality syngas, directly replacing coal in the Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) process.
